The 5 most beautiful places in Greece (according to us, anyway)

We tell it like it is: Greece is not a destination, it is a time travel with sun on your snout and feta on your fork. Think ancient temples, salty sea air, myths coming to life among the olive trees AND plenty of free moments to just be. With your group. With each other.

Greece is an "efcharistó" that you experience together. The place to be for schools, sports groups, organizations and teambuildings. We briefly list our 5 favorites:

Athens

The bustling capital where the Acropolis towers proudly above everything else.
In Athens you literally walk through time. Think: philosophers, marble columns, but also modern squares, street food and atmospheric neighborhoods. Ideal for a first introduction to the soul of Greece.

Athens is a city that breathes in layers: you walk along modern streets while your feet almost touch the shadow of the Parthenon that towers high above it all. It is a place where antiquity and actuality dance with each other - you have breakfast with a view of the Acropolis, then lunch in a hip street full of street art and souvlaki. In the Plaka district and Monastiraki square, you are immersed in scents, colors and history, while the markets, ruins and murals tell stories of thousands of years old as well as yesterday. For groups, Athens is ideal: it combines cultural depth with plenty of room for relaxation, discovery and that one unexpected spot where you just want to linger.

🎒 Perfect for groups who want to combine culture and city life.

The ancient theater of Epidaurus

The ancient theater of Epidaurus is perhaps the best-kept secret of ancient Greece - and you can take that quite literally. The floor of the orchestra (stage floor) has a diameter of over 20 meters; from here even faint sounds, such as sighs or whispers, are carried undisturbed to the highest seats, almost 23 meters higher. Because of these special acoustics, the theater is famous. This marvel of acoustics and architecture was built in the 4th century BCE and seats some 14,000 spectators. But it is more than an impressive feat of engineering: it is tucked away in the greenery, surrounded by pines and olive trees, making it a place where you not only take a step back in time, but also take a deep breath. For groups, Epidaurus is a place where wonder happens almost naturally - whether you're a theater lover or just someone who wants to get quiet for a moment.

🎭 A n impressive experience even for those who have nothing to do with theater.

Tolo - Sand between your toes, ouzo in the air

After all that culture, it's time for relaxation. In the coastal town of Tolo, you'll enjoy blue sea, golden beach and an evening sun that colors everything warm orange. Tolo feels like a little secret on the Greek coast that you don't realize until you are actually there. This charming fishing village, with its golden beach and gently lapping sea, is the perfect place to land after days full of history and impressions. Here you don't have to do anything for a while - except enjoy an ice cream along the boardwalk, a swim at sunset or an impromptu game of cards on a terrace. The atmosphere is friendly and authentic, far away from mass tourism. For groups, Tolo is the place to recharge, get to know each other (again) and simply enjoy each other's company with the Aegean Sea as background music.

🧘 The ideal place to unwind together.

Delphi - A magical finale

According to the ancient Greeks, Delphi was the center of the world. Today it is quieter, but no less impressive. The views of the valley and the ruins evoke wonder. Delphi is one of those places where time slows down - whether because of the silence in the mountains, or because you suddenly feel very small among the ruins of what was once the spiritual heart of the ancient world. Here the ancient Greeks consulted Apollo's oracle, seeking answers to great life questions. And strangely enough: even today you feel something special there. The theater and temple seem to blend naturally into the landscape, with a breathtaking view of the valley full of olive trees. In the museum you will discover the richness of this place, from impressive sculptures to ornate inscriptions. For groups, Delphi is a unique ending to the trip: a place that invites rest, reflection and the sharing of stories. Because if there's one place where you'll stop to let everything sink in, it's here.

🌄 A place that makes quiet, even in a group

Olympia - Where sports once began

Olympia is no ordinary stop on the journey - it is a mythical stop where sports, history and symbolism come together. Here, among the remains of temples and training halls, the very first Olympic Games were held thousands of years ago. The ancient stadium still lies there, inviting you to take a sprint yourself along the original course - a moment that often ends in giggles and applause from the crowd. But Olympia is more than a sports field: it is a place that speaks of honor, connection and the beginning of something great. In the archaeological museum, everything comes to life, with images, objects and stories that expand your view of antiquity. For groups, Olympia is not only educational but also connective - because where else can you so literally feel that moving together has brought people closer together for thousands of years?

🏆 F or those who love to learn and exercise.

What makes a trip to Greece truly special?

We're not going to foist anything on you. After all, a plate of tzatziki on a sun-drenched terrace in Tolo will do that much better.
But one thing is for sure: if you want to experience something together that sticks - like sand in your shoes and conversations that resonate for a long time to come - then Greece is a wonderful location.
