What can you expect from us?

  • We are staying at the Maison des Astars in Villeneuve-de-Berg. This former patrician house is a delight to the eye and an example of the authentic charm of the picturesque village. You will not soon forget its spacious entrance hall in natural stone, its barrel and cross-ribbed vaults, its patio, its imposing staircase hall and its terrace.

    Behind the building is alarge outdoor area withpool where some large trees provide shade.

    La Maison des Astars is ideally suited for schools, sports clubs, youth groups and families. The accommodation has the necessary approvals from Jeunesse et Sports and the French Ministry of Education, making it a reliable choice for educational and sporting group travel .

  • In the Ardèche there are numerous possibilities, both sporting, recreational, and cultural: such as kayaking, tree trail, hiking, local markets, ... If desired, we help organize the activities.

Arrival in Villeneuve-de-Berg and introduction to Maison des Astars

After a comfortable bus ride, the group arrives in picturesque Villeneuve-de-Berg. Participants will settle into the characterful Maison des Astars, a former patrician house converted into a cozy group residence. The day ends with an exploratory walk through the village and relaxing activities such as sports and board games.

Active day in Jaujac: tree trail and hikes

In Jaujac, participants can choose between a challenging tree trail or a game of paintball. After lunch there are several options: a hike to the Pont Romain, swimming in Jaujac, or hikes through the Cirque des Gens or the Gorges de Louyre. A day full of action and nature experiences.

Sports and recreation: wine cellar and karting

The final day begins with a hike and a visit to a local wine cellar, where participants will learn more about regional wine production. In the afternoon, a karting activity is scheduled, an exciting end to the trip.After dinner, the bus departs back to Belgium.

Adventure in nature: caves and kayaking

The second day is devoted to nature and adventure. The morning includes a visit to the impressive caves of Aven d'Orgnac, followed by a picnic in Vallon Pont d'Arc. In the afternoon, participants will experience an 8-12 km kayaking trip on the river, a unique way to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Cultural excursion to Avignon

The group will visit historic Avignon, where the Palais des Papes and the famous Pont d'Avignon are on the program. After lunch there will be free time to further explore the city, followed by a drive back to the accommodation and a pleasant evening.

Return to Belgium

After an overnight bus ride, the group arrived in Belgium in the morning with memories of a week of adventure, culture and fun in the Ardèche.
